Carlo Gatti

然後,他被邀請加入Associazione 100 Pittori di Via Margutta(Via Margutta的100位畫家協會)。

Carlo Gatti was born in Rome where he lives and works. With a strong and disciplined attitude towards his passions, Gatti managed to be professional in both science (ophthalmologist) and art (painter). After years and years of drawing from famous art work, Gatti developed his own style of painting – approximate realism with personal transfiguration. After winning “i grifonin” from National Contemporary Art Prize, he became a frequent exhibitor especially in Lazio. He was then invited to be in the Associazione 100 Pittori di Via Margutta (Association of 100 Painters of Via Margutta).

Many of Gatti’s works focus on seas, piers, yachts and boats. With years of observing and painting specially on these scenarios, Gatti not only has developed the dream collections, but also has created the style of the theme. Critics like especially the way he uses colour to express gesture and structure, as well as the details of the water.
